Some dreams stay quietly in our hearts until we find the courage to pursue them.
Before beginning my entrepreneurial journey, I had the privilege of working with reputed educational institutions in Bengaluru as an academician. My years in education shaped me in many ways, teaching me dedication, discipline, leadership, communication, and, above all, the importance of understanding and connecting with people.
Yet, alongside my career in academia, I always carried a dream of becoming an entrepreneur — of creating something meaningful that reflected my passion, creativity, and vision.
With the constant encouragement and support of my family, I finally found the courage to take that leap from academia into entrepreneurship. And from that dream, MANOMAYEE – The Saree Wardrobe was born.
My love for sarees has always gone beyond their beauty. To me, a saree carries emotion, tradition, confidence, and memories. It becomes part of some of the most meaningful moments in a woman’s life — weddings, festivals, celebrations, milestones, and the beautiful everyday moments in between.
I wanted MANOMAYEE to be a space where women could discover sarees that feel special — sarees they would not simply purchase and wear, but cherish, remember, and make a part of their own stories.
Building MANOMAYEE has been a journey of learning, challenges, courage, and immense joy. Every customer who walks through our doors, every saree we curate, and every story shared with us adds another beautiful chapter to this journey.
